I have a Clutch V2 freecoaster and I'm experiencing an issue where the hub occasionally fails to engage when pedaling forward. I've set the slack to maximum, but sometimes it takes nearly four full cranks before it engages. The engagement seems random; at times, it engages correctly after only half a crank, as expected at max slack. Overall, it functions as intended about 80% of the time while pedaling forward.
I've recently disassembled the hub, cleaned it, and re-greased all components before putting it back together. I also adjusted the slack to zero. However, it still intermittently fails to engage. Now, when this issue occurs, it only allows for an extra half crank before engaging due to the slack adjustment. While it consistently works properly about 80% of the time at zero slack, there are still moments when it doesn't engage, leaving me pedaling without chain tension until it does.

This situation is quite alarming to ride, as I sometimes experience zero chain tension while pedaling, and it happens unpredictably. I don’t think it’s slipping on the clutch mating surfaces because once it does engage, it drives forward without slipping as long as I maintain tension.
I'm unsure of the cause of this issue. Upon inspection, I found no serious damage inside the hub. I removed all the old grime and re-greased everything, suspecting that something might be sticking, but the problem persists.
Is there anyone having the same issue? How can I fix it?
