Hello geometry dash lite,
We have a 5 year old who is shredding on his 14” handmedown bike. We had initially decided to wait and get him a nicer 16” bike; we figured it would not be too long before he outgrew the 14”. The issue at the moment, however, is he is starting to do small manuals, riding off bigger curbs, and small jumps. The coaster breaks are messing him up and he can’t get into his foot position in time or he skids out while pulling up. I’m also noticing that other riders I see on YouTube that he watches stayed on a 14” until they were around 7. I’m thinking of just biting the bullet and getting him something that can do what he wants even if it’s overkill. I have looked at the Cult Juvenile, Kink pump, and the Fit Misfit. Any insight or advice welcome. Im a skater not a BMX’r so I understand the importance of good equipment even for young kids but also 400$+- is a lot for a bike when the only real issue with his current one is coaster breaks.
