Morning all. I just received a 2022 Kink Williams and this is my first time riding a freecoaster. When I pedal, the motion isn't particularly fluid. Around every half rotation I get a slight knock in them almost like the clutch is disengaging.
Also when 8 back pedal there seems to be a moderate amount of tension. I have to really put effort in to "flicking" them to where they can rotate 360 degree freely.
Are freecoasters supposed to provide a completely fluid rotation or is this expected behavior?

Re: Freecoaster problems
Hi Scott, this can actually happen on some freecoasters. Especially new bearings take some getting used to. That "knock" feeling could be due to the clutch system. Backpedal resistance is also common. It gets smoother over time. By the way, if you are someone who pays attention to details like you, you might also enjoy games that require reflexes like basketball legends !
