Help Needed to Identify Mountain Bike by Frame

Hi Guys and Gals, I was wondering if anyone can Please help me identify this Mountain bike..

Here's all info I have. I bought it from a guy about 5 years ago, he told me his kid went to college and that the bike was taking up space, Fast forward 5 years later and I've decided to try and restore it to the best I can, However, after inspection of the bike I cannot seem to find any model or brand on the bike.. the bike is covered in a tar type paint.. it could just be thick black spray paint.

Here's a few pictures hopefully someone knows what this thing is and we can find out more info on it.

It's a Very well built frame.

You can try looking for any serial numbers or identification markings on the frame, usually located near the bottom bracket shell or rear dropouts. Serial numbers can sometimes be used to trace the bike's manufacturer or provide more details about its history.
